11 Days Kenya , Tanzania  and Zanzibar safari tour

Day 1: Nairobi/Nakuru:

You are expected to arrive at Jomo Kenyata International Airport where you will be picked by our safari guide. He will immediately transfer you to Sarova Lion Hill where you will have your lunch from. After lunch, you will continue to Lake Nakuru National Park which is known for the large concentration of flamingoes which reside along the Lake shore hence giving it a hue.  When you get to the Park, you will find other animals like the rare Rothschild giraffe, the waterbucks, the Burchell’s zebras, just to mention but a few. Within this Park, there is the Malaika falls which is also another attraction that will make your stay enjoyable. Later in the afternoon, you will have a game drive until evening when you will transfer to Flamingo Hill Camp for your dinner and over night.

Day 2: Transfer to Masai Mara

You will have your morning breakfast and then transfer to Masai Mara. You will cross the Loita plains and you will be assured of seeing the red clad Masai warriors tending their multi-colored herds amongst plains game. You will get to Masai Mara at around lunch time and this where you will have your lunch from. After lunch, you will head for the afternoon game drive to view different wildlife and then later in the evening, you will transfer back to for your dinner and overnight at Mara Sopa Lodge.

Day 3: Masai Mara:

Breakfast at lodge and leave with picnic lunches for a full day game drive inside the Park. Search for Wild game black manned lion for which Mara is famous for, cheetah, buffalo, wildebeest, zebra, leopard, grants gazelle are quite common, even the rare rhino might come out of the thicket for you, hyenas are plentiful, Extend your drive to the hippo point where schools of hippo submerge on the approach of vehicles only to surface seconds later to shot and gamble their displeasure as the crocodiles sunbathe on the river banks mouths agape. You will also have an optional activity if visiting Masai cultural Manyata to learn about the local community’s culture and tradition at only USD 25 or go for the hot air balloon ride with champagne at only USD 425 such that in the evening you transfer to Mara Sopa/Keekerok Lodge for your dinner and over night.

Day 4: Transfer to Sirari border and then to Serengeti.

On this day, you will transfer to Sirari/Isebania border on Kenya/Tanzania (Mara/Serengeti) for immigration and custom formalities. After that, you will proceed to proceed to Serengeti National Park in Tanzania with lunch enroute. Later on, you will head to Serengeti National Park which will give you clear views of the big game like elephants, lions, giraffes, cheetahs, just to mention but a few. In the evening you will head back to the Lodge with stunning designs inspired by a traditional African Village and this is where you will have your dinner and over night.

Day 5: Serengeti:

This day is very interesting because you learn a lot. So after your morning breakfast, you will do the game driving activity in the Serengeti for the whole morning and this will indeed be memorable. Still in the afternoon, you will go back for the game drive and you will as well enjoy it for the second time. Because of too much fun, you will again excite your self with lunch, refreshments and a relaxation at the lodge or camp site. At Serengeti National Park, you will be in position to view all the big five and other animals like the zebras, gazelle, antelopes, wildebeest and some others. You will later get to know that some animals like wildebeest and zebras do migrate in June and July. This Serengeti National park also has a few carnivores like the lions, leopards, hyenas and cheaters.  This day will indeed be exciting, so you will have your dinner and overnight at Serengeti Serena Sopa Lodge.

Day 6: Serengeti/Ngorongoro:

After you early morning breakfast, you will transfer to Ngorongoro. You will reach in the afternoon so you will have lunch at Noitoktok. After your lunch, you will visit the crater and you will be in position to see some of the animals like lions, elephants ,zebras, a small number of flamingoes, wildebeest, spotted hyena,  grant’s, Thompson’s gazelle, cheaters. You might not be able to see all the interesting things around the crater because of time but will go back there on the next day. So after glancing at the animals, you will e driven back to the crater rim Ngorongoro Sopa Lodge for your dinner and over night.

Day 7: Ngorongoro Crater

On this day, you will head to Ngorongoro for a full day crater tour. Remember that you are spending the whole day there so you are advised to carry picnic lunch with you. This Ngorongoro crater is 670 meters deep and surrounded with several animals some of which include the lions, elephants ,zebras, a small number of flamingoes, wildebeest, spotted hyena,  grant’s, Thompson’s gazelle, cheaters and so many more. Because you will be tired, you will first rest for a while with lunch at Noitoktok springs picnic site. After your late lunch, you will some time to watch some birds until you are transferred back to Ngorongoro Sopa lodge for your dinner and overnight.

Day 8: Transfer to Arusha – Zanzibar

You are expected to drive to Arusha immediately after your morning breakfast via Mto Wa Mbu and Karatu Market to catch a flight to the Spice Island of Zanzibar. Met and assisted on arrival in Zanzibar. Transfer to Blue Bay Beach Resort & Spa or Sultan Sands Island Resort or Beyt Al Chai booked on half board accommodation.

Day 9 & 10: Zanzibar

After your morning breakfast, you will drive to Arusha via Mto Wa Mbu and Karatu Market such that you catch a flight to the spice Island of Zanzibar. You will see so many interesting things like cloves, mangoes, pine apples, grapes, just to mention but a few. You will as well be given some thing small to taste and of you are interested; you will buy some thing to take to your relatives. After your Zanzibar spice tour, you will be met and assisted on your arrival in Zanzibar such that you are transferred to Blue Bay Beach Resort and spa where you will have your dinner and overnight from

Day 11: Departure

This is your day of departure and so you will take a flight to Zanzibar back to Nairobi Airport where you will connect with your departure flight back home.
