This 16 days (15 nights) will begin and finish in Nairobi. It will take you to so many places to the northern sector across the equator line, Samburu National Reserve, Mt. Kenya National Park,  Lake Nakuru, Masai Mara in Kenya, The Lodge at the Mountain, Amboseli National Park, Namanga border, Lake Manyara National Park, Serengeti National Park, Ngorongoro crater, just to mention but a few.

You will spend 2 nights at Samburu Sopa Lodge / Samburu Lodge/Samburu Serena lodge/Samburu Sentrim Lodge, 1 night at the Tree Hotel, 1 night at Lake Nakuru Lodge/Sarova lion Hill, 3 nights at Mara Sopa Lodge, 1 night at Nairobi Safari Club, 1 night at Lake Manyara Hotel, 2 nights at Amboseli Sopa Lodge/Amboseli Serena lodge/Amboseli Sentrim Lodge, Serengeti Serena Safari Lodge for 2 nights and Ngorongoro Serena Safari Lodge for 2 nights

16 days tour itinerary for Kenya and Tanzania.

Day 1: Arrive at Nairobi and transfer to Samburu.
On this day, you will wake up in the morning and have breakfast. After your morning breakfast, you will transfer Samburu through the north across the equator while driving through changing terrain to the rugged semi-desert regions in the northern Kenya. This route is a bit harsh with bad roads but I am very sure with our four wheel drive, you will get to where you are heading safely. However much the place is funny, it is so embraced with species that you can not find any where else. You will arrive at Samburu Lodge in time for lunch and you will have it of course and then proceed to the Park for a small game drive hence in the evening, you will transfer back to Samburu Sopa Lodge / Samburu Lodge/Samburu Serena lodge/Samburu Sentrim Lodge for your dinner and overnight.

Day 2: Samburu National Park
You are expected to spend the rest of the day here in Samburu. You will wake up very early in the morning for your breakfast then after go for the game drive in search for the  rare liver red reticulated giraffe, Grevy’s Zebra, Beisa Oryx, Blue flanked Somali Ostrich, Vulturine Guinea Fowl, Longneck Gerenuk. These are not all you will see but for a while, you will have a relaxation with lunch such that you get back to the Park. This time round, there will be a possibility of seeing the lions, Cheetahs, Leopards, just to mention but a few. Later in the evening, you will nothing to do and so you will have an optional visit to the Samburu villages or even others can decide to stay in their rooms. Dinner and overnight will be at Samburu Lodge/Samburu Serena lodge/Samburu Sentrim Lodge/Samburu Sopa Lodge.
Day 3: Transfer to the Mountain Lodge.
On this day, you will wake up in the morning and then transfer to the Mountain Lodge using the lower slopes of Mt. Kenya. You will arrive at Serena Mountain Lodge (tree hotel) in time for lunch and you will not waste a minute without having it. After lunch, you will enjoy the precious views of the wild game as you relax at the balcony of the lodge. In the evening, those who want to carry out an evening walk will do so as the rest stay out on the lodge balcony. In the night, you will have a night game viewing but it will not be as clear as you might want it to be. Dinner and overnight at the tree hotel.

Day 4: Lake Nakuru
You are expected to have your morning breakfast and then transfer to the shoulders of Mt. Kenya via Thomson Falls. You will arrive at around lunch time and you will not do any thing else but lunch at Lake Nakuru. Immediately after lunch, you will go for the afternoon game drive. Lake Nakuru is a place that is so embraced with countless flamingoes and some other animals like the buffaloes, rhinos, leopard, and lions can all be seen here apart from the elephants. As you carry on your game drive, you will be heading to the Pink lake referred which referred to as the ‘’flamingo zone’ where every bird watcher never gets bored infact it is very interesting to visit this bird watcher’s paradise. Otherwise in the evening you will return back to Lake Nakuru Lodge/Sarova lion Hill for your dinner and overnight.

Day 5: Head to Masai Mara
You will have your morning breakfast and then transfer to Masai Mara. You will cross the Loita plains and you will be assured of seeing the red clad Masai warriors tending their multi-colored herds amongst plains game. You will get to Masai Mara at around lunch time and this where you will have your lunch from. After lunch, you will head for the afternoon game drive to view different wildlife and then later in the evening, you will transfer back to for your dinner and overnight

Day 6 & 7: Masai Mara
You will spend 2 days here because there is really a lot to see feel and enjoy. It is not worthy to spend 1 day in such a place that every one mentions as an unforgettable. So after your morning breakfast, you will drive to Masai Mara such that you get there in time for lunch. You will have lunch the moment you get there as you share a few conversations about what Masai Mara is. It is Kenya’s finest game reserve. Elephant and buffalo abound in the riverine forests, and herds of antelope and unusual lesser species may be seen on the endless plains together with attendant predators such as lion, cheetah, leopard and many others. When evening reaches, you will have a cup of coffee to warm you, dinner and over night at Mara Sopa Lodge.
Day 8: Transfer back to Nairobi.
You will have your morning breakfast at Masai Mara Sopa Lodge and then transfer back to Nairobi. You will get to Nairobi at around lunch time and you will have it there. After lunch, you will relax for a few minutes such that you have a brief city tour otherwise later in the evening, you will transfer back to Nairobi Safari Club for your dinner and overnight.

Day 9: Amboseli.
You will wake up in the morning for your breakfast such that you transfer to Nairobi-Amboseli National Park. By this time you will be leaving Mara at the foothills of snow capped Mt.Kilimanjaro which is Africa’s highest peak. Game drive enroute to Amboseli Sopa Lodge/Amboseli Serena lodge/Amboseli Sentrim Lodge for your dinner and overnight.

Day 10: Amboseli
In the morning, you will have your morning breakfast and then transfer for the game drive in search for those interesting animals. Among the animals that you will see, lions will be the first ones, leopards, elephants, giraffes, monkeys, birds of different colors with their exotic sounds, hippos, hyenas, just to mention but a few. You will rest for a few minutes while having lunch and then continue with the activity in the afternoon. Those of you who are fascinated with pictures, you will have as many as possible, you will the birds in so many different positions, those eating, swimming, taking water, fighting, whatever you will like. If you also want to take pictures your self with certain animals, you will as well do so. Because what you will have done will be much already, you will head back to Amboseli Serena Lodge/ Amboseli Sopa Lodge and Amboseli Sentrim Lodge for your dinner and overnight.

Day 11: Lake Manyara.
You will wake up early in the morning such that you proceed to Namanga Border town. When you reach Namanga Border town, you will cross over to Tanzania such that you arrive in Arusha at lunch time. You will have your lunch there (Arusha Impala Hotel). After your lunch, you will proceed to Lake Manyara while game viewing enroute. When you reach Lake Manyara Hotel, you will have your dinner and over night.

Day 12: Serengeti.
You are expected to have your usual morning breakfast with packed lunch because you will have your lunch en-route. After that, you will transfer to Serengeti National Park but you will first visit the Olduvai Gorge site of archeological findings, where traces of pre-historic man dating back to 3.5 million years ago have been discovered. En-route, you can see some of the animals roaming around and others resting in tree shades. In this Park, the wildebeest and the zebras are the most common animals; you can not spend a minute without spotting at least one. Most of the cat family can be seen in the plains while the elephants are a bit scarce. There are other animals (endangered black rhinos which are restricted at the Moru Koppies area. All these animals you will see on your next day after arrival. So you will arrive and have a late lunch and after you will proceed for a game drive, dinner and overnight at Serengeti Lodge.

Day 13: Serengeti
This day is very interesting because you learn a lot. So after your morning breakfast, you will do the game driving activity in the Serengeti for the whole morning and this will indeed be memorable. Still in the afternoon, you will go back for the game drive and you will as well enjoy it for the second time. Because of too much fun, you will again excite your self with lunch, refreshments and a relaxation at the lodge or camp site. At Serengeti National Park, you will be in position to view all the big five and other animals like the zebras, gazelle, antelopes, wildebeest and some others. You will later get to know that some animals like wildebeest and zebras do migrate in June and July. This Serengeti National park also has a few carnivores like the lions, leopards, hyenas and cheaters.  This day will indeed be exciting, so you will have your dinner and overnight at Serengeti Serena Safari Lodge.
Day 14: Ngorongoro
After you early morning breakfast, you will transfer to Ngorongoro. You will reach in the afternoon so you will have lunch at Noitoktok. After your lunch, you will visit the crater and you will be in position to see some of the animals like lions, elephants ,zebras, a small number of flamingoes, wildebeest, spotted hyena,  grant’s, Thompson’s gazelle, cheaters. You might not be able to see all the interesting things around the crater because of time but will go back there on the next day. So after glancing at the animals, you will e driven back to Ngorongoro Serena Safari Lodge for your dinner and overnight.

Day 15: Ngorongoro

On this day, you will head to Ngorongoro for a full day crater tour. Remember that you are spending the whole day there so you are advised to carry picnic lunch with you. This Ngorongoro crater is 670 meters deep and surrounded with several animals some of which include the lions, elephants ,zebras, a small number of flamingoes, wildebeest, spotted hyena,  grant’s, Thompson’s gazelle, cheaters and so many more. Because you will be tired, you will first rest for a while with lunch at Noitoktok springs picnic site. After your late lunch, you will have some time to watch some birds until you are transferred back to Ngorongoro Serena Safari lodge for your dinner and overnight.

Day 16: Back to Arusha/Nairobi/ Home.
You will have your morning breakfast and then drive to Arusha. When you get Arusha, you will have your lunch at Impala Hotel then to be assisted to board afternoon shuttle bus back to Nairobi. You will arrive at around 18:30hrs and wait for your departure flight back home.
