This 13 days (12 nights) will begin and end in Nairobi. You will tour both Kenya and Tanzania and you will see so many attractive things some of which you have only heard your friends say. You will visit different destinations like the Masai Mara in Kenya, Lake Nakuru, Amboseli National Park, Lake Manyara, Serengeti National Park, Ngorongoro Crater and you will as well do the activities in respect to the destinations. You will see different animals that will amaze you and make you go back again for the second time.

You will spend 1 night at Nairobi Safari Club hotel, 3 nights at Mara Sopa Lodge/Mara Sentrim lodge, 1 night at Sarova Lion Hill Lodge, 1 night at Lake Manyara Serena Lodge, 2 nights at Amboseli Serena lodge or similar, 2 night at Serengeti Sopa Lodge, 1 night at Ngorongoro Sopa Lodge, 1 night at Tarangire Sopa Lodge.

Tour Itinerary for 13 days Kenya and Tanzania Safari tour.

Day 1 Arrival
You are expected to arrive at the Airport in Nairobi and you will immediately be picked by our safari guide/ driver who will transfer you to Nairobi safari club hotel you’re your dinner and overnight stay.

Day 2: Nairobi – Masai Mara
Very early in the morning, you will be picked by our safari guide from your hotel and he will transfer you to Mara reserve via the scenic Great Rift Valley. You will get there in time for lunch and that’s where you will have it from. After lunch, you will have a game drive which might enrich you with game like elephants, buffalos, cheetahs, lions, just to mention but a few. Later in the evening, you will head back to Mara Sopa Lodge/Mara Sentrim lodge for your dinner and overnight.

Day 3/4: Masai Mara
You will spend 2 other days here because there is really a lot to see feel and enjoy. It is not worthy to spend 1 day in such a place that every one mentions as an unforgettable. So after your morning breakfast, you will drive to Masai Mara such that you get there in time for lunch. You will have lunch the moment you get there as you share a few conversations about what Masai Mara is. It is Kenya’s finest game reserve. Elephant and buffalo abound in the riverine forests, and herds of antelope and unusual lesser species may be seen on the endless plains together with attendant predators such as lion, cheetah, leopard and many others. When evening reaches, you will have a cup of coffee to warm you.  Remember that there are optional activities in case you are interested;

• Hot air balloon ride at USD 425 per person,
• Nature walks at a fee of USD 45 per person,
• And local village walks at a fee of USD 25 per person.

Later in the night, you will ha your dinner and over night at Mara Sopa Lodge/ Mara Sentrim Lodge.

Day 5: Masai Mara – Lake Nakuru
You are expected to wake up very early in the morning for your breakfast. After your breakfast, you will transfer to Naivasha in order to head to Nakuru. The reason for this is to arrive at Sarova Lion Hill in time for lunch. Saroma Lion Hill is situated in Lake Nakuru National Park, which is enriched with a fantastic array of bird life. Lake Nakuru is known for the large concentration of flamingoes which reside along the Lake shore hence giving it a hue.  When you get to the Park, you will find other animals like the rare Rothschild giraffe, the waterbucks, the Burchell’s zebras, just to mention but a few.

Within this Park, there is the Malaika falls which is also another attraction that will make your stay enjoyable. Later in the afternoon, you will have a game drive until evening when you will transfer to Sarova Lion Hill Lodge for your dinner and overnight

Day 6: Lake Nakuru – Amboseli National park
You will have your morning breakfast and then transfer to the airstrip to fly back to Nairobi. You will depart in the morning such that you arrive at Wilson Airport in time for lunch. You will not engage in any thing else before having your lunch. After lunch, you will proceed to Amboseli National Park with game drive enroute to arrive in Amboseli Serena lodge. Because time will not support you to view game clearly, you will just be briefed on what Amboseli National Park is.  Amboseli National Park is a landscape dominated everywhere by the glistening, majestic snowcap of the mighty Mt Kilimanjaro. Some People prefer calling it “the rooftop of Africa”. You will also get to know that some pastoral Masai stay around the region with their cattle and have stayed in harmony for many years. Later in the night, you will dinner and over night at Amboseli Serena lodge.

Day 7 Amboseli National park
Early in the morning, you will have breakfast and then go for a game drive that will enrich your minds with clear views of the mighty Mt Kilimanjaro with its snowcapped summit appearing pink in the rising sun. This National Park is also known for having so many elephants. There is also some other game like the zebras, wildebeests and buffaloes are in plenty. The snows of Kilimanjaro, white and crystalline, form a majestic backdrop to one of Kenya’s most spectacular displays of wildlife, creating Kenya’s most sought after photographer’s paradise. Afternoon game viewing drive in the Park followed by dinner and overnight at Amboseli Serena Lodge.

Day 8 Amboseli – Lake Manyara
After your morning breakfast, you will transfer to Lake Manyara driving into Tanzania via the Namanga border. You will have your lunch in Arusha and then proceed immediately after it to Lake Manyara National Park. And as you drive,  your eyes will be fed with fantastic views of wild life animals like Hippos, just to mention but a few. When you get to Lake Manyara, the guide will feed you with some information about this National Park. You will get to know that Lake Manyara is shallow and is pa When you reach Lake Manyara, you will  the view is always fantastic. Dinner and overnight at Lake Manyara Serena lodge or similar..

Day 9 Lake Manyara – Serengeti National park
You are expected to have your usual morning breakfast with packed lunch because you will have your lunch en-route. After that, you will transfer to Serengeti National Park but you will first visit the Olduvai Gorge site of archeological findings, where traces of pre-historic man dating back to 3.5 million years ago have been discovered. En-route, you can see some of the animals roaming around and others resting in tree shades. In this Park, the wildebeest and the zebras are the most common animals; you can not spend a minute without spotting at least one. Most of the cat family can be seen in the plains while the elephants are a bit scarce. There are other animals (endangered black rhinos which are restricted at the Moru Koppies area. All these animals you will see on your next day after arrival. So you will arrive and have a late lunch and after you will proceed for a game drive, dinner and overnight at Serengeti Sopa Lodge.
Day10 Serengeti National park
This day is very interesting because you learn a lot. So after your morning breakfast, you will do the game driving activity in the Serengeti for the whole morning and this will indeed be memorable. Still in the afternoon, you will go back for the game drive and you will as well enjoy it for the second time. Because of too much fun, you will again excite your self with lunch, refreshments and a relaxation at the lodge or camp site. At Serengeti National Park, you will be in position to view all the big five and other animals like the zebras, gazelle, antelopes, wildebeest and some others. You will later get to know that some animals like wildebeest and zebras do migrate in June and July. This Serengeti National park also has a few carnivores like the lions, leopards, hyenas and cheaters.  This day will indeed be exciting, so you will have your dinner and overnight at Serengeti Serena Safari Lodge.

Day 11 – Ngorongoro via Olduvai Gorge
On this day, you will head to Ngorongoro for a full day crater tour. Remember that you are spending the whole day there so you are advised to carry picnic lunch with you. This Ngorongoro crater is 670 meters deep and surrounded with several animals some of which include the lions, elephants ,zebras, a small number of flamingoes, wildebeest, spotted hyena,  grant’s, Thompson’s gazelle, cheaters and so many more. Because you will be tired, you will first rest for a while with lunch at Noitoktok springs picnic site. After your late lunch, you will some time to watch some birds until you are transferred back to Ngorongoro Serena Safari lodge for your dinner and overnight.

Day 12- Ngorongoro- Tarangire national park
On this day, you will have your breakfast as usual the crater. Because you will be traveling the whole day, you will have to move with packed lunch, there after, you will continue to Tarangire national park for evening game drives which will reward you with clear views of over 280 herds of elephants scratching the dry river bed for under ground streams with other animals like wildebeest, zebra, buffalo, impala, gazelle, hartebeest. In the evening you will have your dinner and overnight stay at Tarangire sopa lodge

Day 13 Arusha- Nairobi
On this day, you have your morning breakfast and then go for a game drive as you drive to Arusha town for lunch. In the afternoon, you will board an afternoon shuttle bus to Nairobi which will drop you to the Airport to catch your departure flight back home.
