Kenya safari toursThis 13 days (12nights) safari commences and finishes in Nairobi with rewards from Kenya’s most fantastic destination. This safari takes you to Lake Naivasha and Nakuru, Amboseli National Park, Samburu National Park, Masai Mara, Sweetwaters and so many others.

You will spend 1 night at Lake Naivasha Sopa Lodge, 3 nights at Masai Mara Sopa Lodge; Sweet waters Tented Camp for 1 night, 1 night at Sarova Hill Lodge, Samburu Serena Lodge for 2 nights, Amboseli Serena Lodge for 2 nights, Mountain Lodge Serena for 1 night and Nairobi Safari Club for 1 night.

Day 1: Arrival / Nairobi.
You are expected to arrive in Nairobi using the Jomo Kenyata International Airport. You will be met then by our professional safari guides/ drivers who will transfer you to Nairobi Safari Club for your dinner and overnight.

Day 2: Nairobi / Amboseli National Park
On this day, you will have your morning breakfast as usual and then proceed to Amboseli via Nairobi for lunch at Nairobi Restaurant. Arrive to the park at the foot of the snow capped Mt. Kilimanjaro, Africa’s highest peak. When you get there, you will have lunch and the after continue with the game drive which will provide you with clear views of some of the residents of the residents of Amboseli National Park. In the evening, you will return back to Amboseli Serena Lodge where you will have your dinner and over night from.

Day 3: Amboseli National Park.
You will wake up in the morning for your breakfast such that you transfer to Nairobi-Amboseli National Park. By this time you will be leaving Mara at the foothills of snow capped Mt.Kilimanjaro which is Africa’s highest peak. You will also see, lions will be the first ones, leopards, elephants, giraffes, monkeys, birds of different colors with their exotic sounds, hippos, hyenas, just to mention but a few. You will rest for a few minutes while having lunch and then continue with the activity in the afternoon. Those of you who are fascinated with pictures, you will have as many as possible, you will the birds in so many different positions, those eating, swimming, taking water, fighting, whatever you will like. If you also want to take pictures your self with certain animals, you will as well do so. Because what you will have done will be much already, you will head back to Amboseli Serena Lodge for your dinner and overnight.

Day 4:  Transfer to Mount Kenya National Park

You will have your morning breakfast and later transfer to the lower slopes of Mountain Kenya with game drive enroute with a stop over at Nyahururu Thomson Falls which is the longest fall in Kenya. You will arrive at Serena Mountain Lodge in time for a late lunch. Yes you will have lunch of course and rest there. This Serena Mount Lodge is located on the slopes of Mount Kenya surrounded by the dense rain forest that comes alive at dusk with a myriad of sounds that makes the African bush so special and exhilarating. Considered the most spectacular forest water hole in the Aberdares, the lodge’s waterhole presents a constant ballet of wildlife.
This lodge also has 42 attractive bedrooms furnished with indigenous wood and African art which will make your stay much more comfortable. You will sleep earlier enough such that that you are able to get up early for the Sweet waters therefore you will have your dinner and overnight at Mountain Lodge Serena.

Day 5: Transfer to Samburu National Reserve
On this day, you will wake up in the morning and have breakfast. After your morning breakfast, you will transfer Samburu through the north across the equator while driving through changing terrain to the rugged semi-desert regions in the northern Kenya. This route is a bit harsh with bad roads but I am very sure with our four wheel drive, you will get to where you are heading safely. However much the place is funny, it is so embraced with species that you can not find any where else. You will arrive at Samburu Lodge in time for lunch and you will have it of course and then proceed to the Park for a small game drive hence in the evening, you will transfer back to Samburu Serena lodge for your dinner and over night.

Day 6: Samburu National Reserve.
Kenya safari toursYou are expected to spend the rest of the day here in Samburu. You will wake up very early in the morning for your breakfast then after go for the game drive in search for the  rare liver red reticulated giraffe, Grevy’s Zebra, Beisa Oryx, Blue flanked Somali Ostrich, Vulturine Guinea Fowl, Longneck Gerenuk. These are not all you will see but for a while, you will have a relaxation with lunch such that you get back to the Park. This time round, there will be a possibility of seeing the lions, Cheetahs, Leopards, just to mention but a few. Later in the evening, you will nothing to do and so you will have an optional visit to the Samburu villages or even others can decide to stay in their rooms. Dinner and overnight will be at Samburu Serena lodge.

Day 7: Transfer to Sweet Waters.
It is very interesting to visit Sweet waters game drive. So after your morning breakfast, you will depart to Mountain Lodge and drive a little further north across the equator to Sweet waters Game Reserve. When you reach the place, you will head to sweet waters tented camp where you will have your lunch from. After lunch, you will have an afternoon game drive in the private sanctuary. This very special 23,000 acre wildlife sanctuary was originally established to protect and breed highly-endangered Black Rhinos. In 1994 the Jane Goodall Institute established the Sweet waters Chimpanzee Sanctuary which is a home of 26 orphaned chimpanzees the only one of its kind in Kenya. You will also visit Morani the tame rhino and the Visitors Information Centre. In the evening, you will transfer back to Sweet waters Tented Camp for your dinner and overnight.

Day 8: Head to Lake Nakuru.
You are expected to wake up very early in the morning for your breakfast. After your breakfast, you will transfer to Naivasha in order to head to Nakuru. The reason for this is to arrive at Sarova Lion Hill in time for lunch. Saroma Lion Hill is situated in Lake Nakuru National Park, which is enriched with a fantastic array of bird life. Lake Nakuru is known for the large concentration of flamingoes which reside along the Lake shore hence giving it a hue.  When you get to the Park, you will find other animals like the rare Rothschild giraffe, the waterbucks, the Burchell’s zebras, just to mention but a few.

Within this Park, there is the Malaika falls which is also another attraction that will make your stay enjoyable. Later in the afternoon, you will have a game drive until evening when you will transfer to Sarova Lion Hill Lodge for your dinner and overnight

Day 9:  Transfer to Lake Naivasha.
O n this day, you will arrive in Nairobi and depart for Naivasha immediately. By the time you reach Naivasha, you will be hungry and so you will just have lunch. After lunch, you will transfer to Lake Naivasha for a boat ride and a walking safari at Crescent Island, one of the few places in the world where one can walk amidst wild animals. On this day, you will have another boat ride in the after and you might see another group of wild animals. Later in the night, you will have dinner and overnight at Naivasha Sopa Lodge.

Day 10: From Lake Naivasha to Masai Mara.
You will wake up in the morning for your breakfast and after transfer to the airstrip for a flight to Masai Mara. You will depart in the morning such that you get to Mara in time. When you arrive at Mara, you will be picked by our safari guide or driver who will transfer you to Masai Mara where you will spend you night from. You will check in at a late lunch time hour and begin enjoying the lodge facilities. You will as well have your late lunch and then go for a game drive. Later in the evening, you will come back to Mara Serena lodge for your dinner and overnight.

Day 11 & 12: Masai Mara National Reserve
Full days spent exploring the park with morning and afternoon game drives in search of the Big Five. Optional balloon safari can be arranged at an extra cost. The Mara offers wildlife in such variety and abundance that it is difficult to believe: over 450 species of animals have been recorded here. You will easily see lions, rhinos, hippos, crocodiles, giraffe, wildebeests, zebras, buffalo, warthogs, hyenas, jackals, wild dogs, buffalo, leopard, many kinds of antelopes and elephant. It is in the Mara that perhaps the most spectacular event of the natural world takes place. This is the annual migration of millions of wildebeest and zebra from the Serengeti (Tanzania) in search of water and pasture. Following on their heels are the predators of the savanna- lion, cheetah, wild dog, jackal, hyena and vultures. You may also opt to do some of the activities offered by the lodge. On clear days, the Masai Mara offers fantastic orange tinted sunsets and you will definitely want to capture this moment while sipping on a sun downer back at the lodge. Hot air balloon trips are an entirely outstanding way of seeing the savannah plains and the wildlife after which you come back down for a beautiful champagne breakfast. These trips can be arranged at our office upon booking. In the evening you will return back to Mara Sopa Lodge for your dinner and over night.

Day 13: Departure
On this day, you will have your morning breakfast as usual and then transfer to Nairobi. You will get there by lunch time and you will have it there (the Carnivores Restaurant). There after, you will proceed to the Giraffe Centre where children get an opportunity to hand feed the endangered species of Rothschild giraffe and visit Karen Blixen Museum as seen in the movie ‘Out of Africa’. Depending on your departure schedule, you will have dinner at the Pampa Restaurant (Brazilian Restaurant) and later transfer to the Airport for your departure flight back home.
